Elpis Mission: The Untold Story of Hope and Charity

Manasse Kagumba

Today, the needs in our communities continue to grow, and we are reaching out to kind-hearted individuals and organizations to join us in this mission. Our current programs include:

  1. Monthly feeding programs for children, widows, and the elderly.

  2. Building homes for the homeless.

  3. Distributing Bibles to strengthen faith.

  4. Paying school fees for underprivileged children.

  5. Providing clothing to those in need.

We humbly invite you to partner with us by sponsoring a program that resonates with your heart. Together, we can bring hope, dignity, and transformation to the lives of the less privileged in Kenya.

Thank you for your support, and may God bless you abundantly.

Warm regards,

Message from the Director

Hello and welcome!

I am deeply grateful for your interest in joining us on this journey to support the less privileged in the communities of Kenya. This initiative began in 2015, rooted in a calling to serve those in need. During my time as a pastor, I witnessed the struggles of widows, orphans, and the vulnerable who would approach us after Sunday services, seeking help with food, clothing, school fees, and medical care. Despite our limited resources, we did what we could, often relying on prayers and personal contributions.

One pivotal moment came during a prayer night when I felt a divine calling to expand our efforts. Soon after, God connected me with Reverend David Lee, a missionary from the USA, who became a key partner in this mission. Moved by the overwhelming needs he witnessed during his visit to Kenya, Rev. Lee provided crucial support, enabling us to build homes, launch feeding programs, and meet other urgent needs.

Since then, with the help of partners like Faithway Family Church, Pastor Sam, my wife, and many others, we have made significant strides. To date, we have:

  • Built 70 homes for the vulnerable.

  • Fed over 5,000 widows and orphans.

  • Distributed over 5,000 Bibles to new converts and churches.

  • Paid school fees and medical bills for countless individuals.

  • Provided clothing to those in need.

About Elpis Mission

Elpis Mission began its journey 8 years ago, informally supporting vulnerable communities in Kenya. Officially registered as a Community-Based Organization (CBO) in 2024, we have dedicated ourselves to bridging the gap for those in need. From feeding programs to building homes and supporting education, we are here to bring hope and dignity to the underserved.

“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
Anne Frank

After 8 years of helping support the need in Kenya, Elpis Mission was officially registered as a community-Based Organization (C.B.O.) in 2024 Our goal is to help bridge the gap by raising funds to support feeding programs, build homes for the homeless, and support the members of the community in form of giving little support to the children who lack school fees, who needs clothing,, etc.

Our Mission

At Elpis Mission, we support widows, orphans, and vulnerable communities in Kenya. Most of our assistance—homes, food, school fees, Bibles, clothing, and medical help—comes from our own pockets. As the need grows, we’re seeking support to continue providing hope and vital resources to those in need.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a thriving, empowered community where no widow, orphan, or vulnerable person goes without basic needs. We aim to provide sustainable solutions that offer hope, dignity, and a brighter future for those we serve, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to live a better life.

You can make a difference by donating to support our feeding programs, housing projects, and educational assistance for widows, orphans, and vulnerable communities. Regardless of size, your contributions help us provide essential needs like food, shelter, school fees, and medical care—partner with us to bring hope and lasting change to those who need it most.

✅ Built 9 houses through the support of the church and generous well-wishers.

Fed over 5,000 people, including widows and orphans.
Distributed Bibles to various churches and ministries, with contributions from Jimmy Swaggart Ministries and Something Beautiful International.

✅ Continued feeding programs for children, widows, and community members. Many could only afford one meal a day, so we stepped in to help.
